Jessie Lee Reddick

Jessie Lee Shank Reddick passed away peacefully on June 27, 2025. Jessie was born on March 10, 1944 in Camak, Georgia from the union of Raymond and Velmon Shank. Jessie and her parents relocated to Florida when she was a child, she attended Lee County Public Schools and later obtained her GED.

Jessie was employed with Gulf Coast Center for over 25 years. She moved her employment to the Lee County School District from which she retired.

Jessie was united in holy matrimony to LC Reddick in 1980. Jessie was a feisty, no nonsense, loving and supportive person. She loved her family unconditionally.
Affectionately known as "Messy Jessie" She would speak her mind about anything to anyone. She was loved and cherished by anyone she encountered. Jessie's vivacious personality will be greatly missed.

Jessie was preceded in death by her parents Raymond and Velmon Shank; husband, Leonard LC Reddick; daughters, Karen Corbett Blake (Robert) and Tarita Corbett Brinkley.

She leaves to cherish her memory her son, Pastor Cecil Hutchins (Mary) of Thomaston, Ga; daughters, Tonya Edwards (Issac) of Sarasota, Fl., Rosalyn Leaphart of Sarasota, Fl and Angel Clark (Walter) of Ft. Myers, Fl.; special granddaughters, Tamika Corbett (Meagan) of Lehigh Acres, FL and Ranarda Ridley (Carlos) of Lehigh Acres, FL. As well as a host of grandchildren, great grandchildren, extended family and friends.
